Privacy Policy

Account data — your email address and the profile details you choose to add (name, photo, X handle, country, bio). Authentication is handled by our identity provider; we never see or store your password.

Listing data — everything you publish in a listing: startup name, description, revenue, pricing, category and optional social links. This is public by design so buyers can find your startup.

Billing keys — read-only API keys you submit for verification are stored encrypted and used only to read revenue figures from your billing provider. They cannot charge, refund or move money. You can delete a key at any time from your workspace; we recommend deleting it in your billing provider's dashboard too.

Conversations and offers — messages and offers exchanged through Acqora are stored so both sides can keep a record of the negotiation.

Usage data — page views and product events, used to improve the marketplace. We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics.

We don't sell your personal data. We don't share founder contact details with buyers before an offer is accepted — introductions happen through the platform. We don't use your billing keys for anything beyond reading the figures shown on your listing.

Promotion payments are processed by Stripe; card details go to Stripe, not to Acqora. Deal funds are held and transferred by Escrow.com under their own privacy terms — Acqora never touches the money in an escrowed transaction.

We email you about your account, claims, offers and deals on your own listings — these are part of the service. Weekly digests are opt-in. Every email includes a way to stop receiving it.

You can access, correct or export your data from your dashboard, and delete your account and listings from your workspace settings. We're based in France and comply with the GDPR; you may also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL). Data deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.
